If you desire to truly disable the Client Update after you have activated it then, Close the IIM Server Manager and go in the registry and Set the following key to 0
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ipswitch\Messenger Server\Settings\Client Update Timestamp Reopen the server manager and restart the service Your users will no longer be prompted to update, I will caution you, if you do this if you decide @ a later point that you want to force a client update again it will not work the first time. One of the defects fixed in Version 1.02 was when you Attempt to Force a Client Update it wouldn't work the first time. The cause for this defect was due to the registry key above being set to 0, so if you set it back to 0 you will have this problem when/if you decide you want to Force a Client Update.
