One of my desktop users has been having problems with the IM client for
quite a while now and I don't know where to go from here. It is running on a
Windows 2000 PC with 256 MB RAM on an AMD Athlon 1.1 GHz processor. No other
apps are throwing errors. The error message appears only when the user tries
to initiate a conversation, however the user can receive messages up until
he tries to initiate a conversation, at which point the following error is
thrown and the client dies:

Runtime Error!
Program C:\Program Files\Ipswitch IM\Imclient.exe
Abnormal Program Termination

I have tried:
-Uninstalling and Re-installing the client
-Windows System File Checker
 
Any Ideas are appreciated as this is a Director's pc and he is getting a
little frustrated with the problem.
