That doesn't really exist; IP is generally interfacing to 802.11 as if it were 
802.3.

There was some discussion at IETF 60, apparently, but I don't know of any 
results:

I was trying to address the general issue of how to do optimizations on 
networks that aren't Ethernets, but for all intents and purposes are treated 
like Ethernets, at about the same 
time in http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-bormann-rohc-over-802 -- but there was 
little 
interest.

With the recent attention on 802 issues in Orlando, maybe it's time to look 
closer again.
