Or to put it another way, if the URI you started with was bound to a
particular zoneID, then any link locals you see in the HTML (or JSON or
...) that you get from that direction, are also bound to that zoneID.

This is a bit like what MIF's RFC 6731 does for DNS.
(as much as I hate that solution)
