I have modified the code on the program to issue an additional alert under certain conditions. They are:
The Solar Flux increases 20 points over the previous reading. The A Index increases 10 points over previous. The K Index increases 4 points over previous. These can always be set to different values, if that proves desireable. Let me know if you think other values would be appropriate. For now it's set to send the extra bulletin to my email only. That way the list won't be disturbed if the code has bugs and sends in error. So far it's fine. I have tested it, but a real world trigger would be preferable. The question remains, is this something that people here would want? Nobody commented on my last post.
