I hadn't considered sending this separately to various individuals, rather than the list itself. However, that may be possible. I will need to look at some options. Right now the mail is forwarded by a very old UUCP email account. Some parts date back to 1991 and run under DOS 6.22. This mail is processed only at the :10 and :40 minutes every hour.
I do host an SMTP server on site, and that may be able to work. I simply haven't seen the need to integrate the two systems. I'll look at that. It may be as simple as moving a mail file into a spool folder. I will make the limits changes during the test period. It's simple enough, and I may make an .ini file so I don't need to recompile each change. Meanwhile, I would like some sense that the moderators would like this or not. It's really their call.. Lynn: Next time you access the list control, could you have it not send posts to the NG1U address? That's an automated post, and doesn't need the incoming traffic. I get that separately at home.
