One can only hope as it is no fun to have nearly 900 mile away KOA's IBOC which is on til 6 PM MST messing up my sunset skip DX on 840 and 860.
Need I mention WTMJ's IBOC coming on in the morning and wrecking any attempts to get a bit of audio out of what should be the strong Aussie on 612. IBOC does a real job on sunrise skip and spoils lots of chances for easterly sunset skip logs since too many of my locals and semilocals have IBOC on days. 73 KAZ near Chicago ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Pogue" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'Mailing list for the International Radio Club of America'" <[email protected]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; "'nRC AM List'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; "'dXLD'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, November 08, 2006 8:13 PM Subject: Re: [IRCA] WTWP has shut off IBOC > We can only hope that it is permanent and that they are the first of many > ... if not all! > > Jim Pogue > Memphis, Tennessee USA > > NRD-535, ICF-2010 > Wellbrook LA5030 loop, attic longwire > Quantum phaser > > > _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://arizona.hard-core-dx.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
