Barry is absolutely, positively, indisputably and totally correct. CKRW
hasn't disappeared and is still happily AM'ing and FM'ing according to the
station.
As to the streaming audio part, the toughest part won't be hearing CKRW over
the air but rather in hearing the streaming audio. Neither telephones nor
cable Internet access have made it to the Grayland Motel yet. Portzer has
erected a special yagi at Grayland to try cellular Internet service, with a
whopping 10 kb per second to show for his troubles.
We do however have indoor plumbing and television.

CKRW is not off MW. See, for example, http://www.ckrw.com/services.aspx,
where it mentions that they are simulcasting on 610 AM and 96.1 FM.
So, at least for you folks in the PNW, you should keep trying for this
tough
catch... and note that they have audio streaming available to help you out
(http://www.ckrw.com/stream/).
I spent two summers working in the Yukon, but have never heard any Yukon
stations from "the outside".
