Is there a right, or proper, answer to your question? What if one is a 
bit of both?

Respectfully, I'm really missing where this is an issue. We are already 
IDing DX Tests via CW and sweep tone "special effects". All I am talking 
about is adding a few extra-slow IDs to a test for the segment of folks 
interested in really digging into the noise floor and extracting 
conclusive IDs. Doesn't effect the normal flow of a test, doesn't effect 
the purist 'it ain't logged until I hear a voice ID' folks. Simply, as 
in easily for all involved, adds an extra dimension to the DX Tests for 
those interested.
