I am told it is still testing with a music loop. I'll be there on Friday and will report back once I've heard it. (This being a new station since I was out there a year ago for the last NAB convention, KBET is the first thing on my list to listen to and aircheck once I get off the plane; the tower site is way out in the middle of the desert and I may not make it out there this trip, unless I get a hold of their engineer soon.) Whatever's running there now, won't be for long. KBET is being sold to Beasley, which owns KDWN 720, and my understanding is that a bunch of the low-grade leased-time talk now heard on 720 will move to 790 once the sale closes, with 720 taking on more mainstream talk. Stay tuned for updates... s _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
