Also near Portland we have Surplus Gizmos and Cascade Surplus.  These are
not places I go to find specific items (Norvac for that), but lots of cool
stuff.

On my last trip to Surplus Gizmos, I got two homebrew project aluminum boxes
with high quality BNC connectors, switches, a power supply and a 10 turn
Bournes pot. $5 each.
