Pat: Even that is not as easy as it used to be. When I did it 30 odd years ago it was easy and it only took a few months. These days it takes much longer. One thing to remember, for anyone wanting to do it, the process has to be started in originating country. In my case I started it in the UK and became a Canadian citizen a few years later.
