Built two chokes today and they seem to be working. 20 AM stations within 25
miles of here creates a lot of RF. Below are local signal strengths with the
balun and coax, and then with two chokes attached to the coax.

620 KPOJ S9 +5 db S-8
800 KDPQ S-4 S-.5
910 KTRO S-9+10 db S-7
970 KCMD S-4 S-3
1080 KFXX S-9+20db S-7.5
1150 KXMG S-9+25db S-S-9
1190 KEX S9+10db S-8
1330 KKPZ S-8 S-4
1480 KBMS S-6 S-4
1550 KKAD S-9+30db S-7
1600 KOHI S-5 S-.25
1640 KDZR S-8 S-2
The chokes are in line with the Ewe and the Ewe is more directional. Now I
need to buy some good coax with better shielding. .
