Radio room here has set up you describe. Ran three wire outdoor extension
cord from radio room outside, beneath deck. There it sits, coiled & ready. We
tend to lose power. One end of cord jacks into car cigarette lighter. Inside,
multiple connectors connect to scanners & DX-394s. Another 'dual use smart
technology' from Roadmaster Estate Wagon. Runs good.
