I just talked with Brian Clark at KLAA and the DX Test this weekend is all set to go. He said they will run a 30-second chunk of Morse code and sweep tones near the top of the hour, and another shorter version near the bottom of the hour. As a reminder, here is the scoop on the test:
Date: Saturday morning (late Friday night), Dec. 15, 2007. Time: 1 2 a.m. Pacific Time, 0900 1000 UTC. Modes of Operation: 20,000 watts using nighttime directional antenna pattern. Programming: Morse code IDs inserted into regular programming. For full details, go to: http://www.dxtests.info/2007/10/klaa-830-anaheim-ca-dx-test.html I'm waiting to hear back from KQMS to confirm that test is a go, and will check with Paul Lotsof at KEVT closer to the end of the week to ensure all is set there.
