Distinguished Pocket Radio Fanatics,
It has come to my undivided attention that a pleasant discussion has
commenced regarding the cherished moniker of our newfound DX craze.
At the risk of sounding like a perturbed parent, may I humbly suggest
that as individuals rather far removed from our youthful days of old, and
with the urgent objective of preserving what precious few hairs we retain
after
decades of DXing pleasure, we refrain from splitting our few remaining hairs
on a moniker controversy that brings no positive benefit to our cherished
mission... that righteous goal of providing thrilling, liberating,
emancipating, invigorating and uplifting DX with complete freedom from
sedentary
servitude to knobs and switches.
With all due respect to all concerned, may I humbly suggest that we all
use the moniker we feel most comfortable with, and restore the focus back on
the thrilling new DX craze that we all have come to cherish.
