Too bad KOHI cannot get a location like they used to have on Columbia
River Hyw, as that one worked well. They has decent coverage for a 1 KW
daytimer in those days. But after they moved the tower, their signal
went downhill.
   But, you are right, adding phasing, another tower and a new
transmitter would cost a fortune. Maybe as much as the station is worth.
They could serve Portland with more power, but unfortunately, they would
have trouble being directional South, because of KOPT Eugene. Too bad
they couldn't get an X Band frequency where they could run 10 KW days
and 1 KW nights, like 1630 or 1650, or even 1700.
