I don't know about Mr. Moman, but I didn't check until 2000, and by then
I had carriers on 1575, 1548, 1503, 1386, 1377, 1296, and 1134. At the
moment 1134 is the best of the bunch.

And...we west coasters should also be checking for Europe at our local sunrise.
There was a recent posting to the Topband list where an Oregon ham was
working Europeans an hour before local sunrise on 160 meters...it's a darkness
path now to Scandinavia and central Europe
