The application filed by KORC to go silent is over 45 days old, filed back on April 1, 2009 when, I don't think, Rocket Radio had even launched on KORC. I *think* the Portland Radio website may have outdated information because a friend was just up there (IN WALDPORT) last weekend and heard them on the air, but I will double check everything
Although, I wouldn't be surprised if KORC does eventually go silent, their "sister" station, WSBX 1020, well.. can't exactly decide o na format and nothing Woody Nelson (Steven Blood) ever touches lasts very long, usually because he runs out of money.
