Listened from 1139-1252 ut.  Best signals this summer!  Wish I was at Grayland 
this morning. 

High temperature of 64 degrees, here it's going to be 93 degrees today.  



153     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1207 S-1 signal, but fair sounding signal and 
Radio Rossii ID. 

180     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1139-1142 fair with music and man in Russian after 
song. 

189     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1142 almost good signal with man above still 
talking. 

234     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1143 weak with woman in Russian.  Solid S-4 signal 
at 1208. 

279     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1144 fair with fluttering signal with woman 
interviewed by man. 

            Good at 1206. 

567     JAPAN, JOIK 1240 very weak with bits of Japanese coming through. 

594     JAPAN, JOAK 1145 weak with man in Japanese for a few minutes. 

603     Level 5 carrier at 1209.  HLSA likely station. 

639     Level 4 carrier at 1210. 

657     DPR KOREA?  near audio at 1238, much splatter. 

747     JAPAN, JOIB 1212 a little audio present, buried in local KXL spatter. 

774     JAPAN, JOUB 1153 solid S-7 signal with woman in Japanese.  Very little 
splatter. 

828     JAPAN, JOBB 1154 a little weaker than JOUB, S-6 signal and fading. 

891     AUSTRALIA or JAPAN? 1243 something here very weak, ECSS mode not any 
help. 

1053   KOREAS, 1245 jammer and very weak audio battling it out. 

1566   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, 1156 S-7 to S-5 signal.  Very low modulation, music.  
4 pips at 1200. 

1575   THAILAND, VOA 1200 S-7 to S-9 signal with woman singing in Asian 
language.  S-9 peaks at 1249. 

1593   CHINA, CRN! 1224 weak with woman in Chinese and // 5030.  Surprised to 
hear this station 

            in Mid- August.  Still around at 1249 with woman talking over music 
track.
