Thanks Scott. Maybe my ears are just plain bad - and that is no joke, I have a GR 55 jingle which everyone swears they say fifty-five and I hear mumbled gobbledygook and *maybe* a five at the end.
Hank also uses (used?) Cam Brainard who has an awesome radio voice (he did the TV show Maximum Exposure aka Max X) for liners and such. Speaking of TOH ID's I can't believe KTHT 97.1's "KTHT Cleveland-Houston" that is said in about a millisecond. :) Dave -----Original Message----- From: Scott Fybush [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, August 21, 2009 10:35 AM To: HASCALL, DAVID CIV DFAS Cc: [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: Re: [Tvfmdx] [IRCA] Frank FM 97.1 on 1310- Still ??? To my ear, the announcer (the same guy who played J. Peterman on "Seinfeld") *is* saying "Shelbyville* - just in a sort of slurred way. I think that would pass FCC muster, barely. s _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
