Good for you, Colin! Now I'll have someone (besides John Bryant) to compare notes with. Sounds like you were likely DU as well? You did listen a little earlier than I did too, so you might have seen more Asiatic activity compared to mine....Walt PS: Just bought a Kindle DX ....a very useful tool for DXers (don't know about the "DX" in Kindle, but it's there). I downloaded the various databases (it reads pdfs well). The Kindle DX itself will keep powered up for a couple of weeks, I'm told, as long as the wireless is turned off. The wireless (they call it Whispernet and it's only available in the US, so no point in having it on here...although I attempted to access Port Angeles and San Juan Is without success yesterday). Also a real pain to purchase Kindle items from Amazon.com if you're outside the US (but I figured a work around that has worked). _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
