What is your exact location Brian? I see ocean out of my window - and although my location pales in comparison to Salmaniw's - and is utterly unworthy of comparison to Bryant's location on Orcas... I can still get boomers on an Eton E1 BAREFOOT (whip only) in September and October... signal strengths often being at absurd levels on 594, 612, 693, 747, 756, 774, 828, 936, 972, etc -- ..........................................................................................
