Was only able to do some timed recordings this morning due to an early start in data gathering. Yes, NHK2 is again signing off at 1500UT now, at least on weekdays, and HLAZ-1566 can be heard here if one tunes in at 1230UT for the beginning of the Japanese broadcast, with both FEBC and HLAZ IDs. (and VoA-1575 was doing well at the same time with an English introduction to the Lao broadcast then)
Otherwise, it seemed to be a morning from everywhere, though nothing exceptionally strong due to recordings being considerably pre-sunrise with domestic interference, but a bit of Japan, Korean, China, Philippines and Australia. Religious broadcast "hallelujah" etc.by growly voiced man on 1314 at 1400UT seemed to be Philippines, DWXI, w/woman in Tagalog after the hour. Yet still no luck on seeing/hearing Guy's 1322 kHz signal . 2HH on 1341 faded into CC talk and back again to give an example of the variability of the morning. Still haven't finished the recordings, but this gives a bit of the flavor of conditions. best wishes, Nick ********** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
