Hello All, With the sunrise peak enhancements getting later and later, lately it's tough to find much DX before around 1405 UTC here. Although there was a decent peak around 1415, not many second-tier TP's rose up to decent levels-- and the ones that did had been logged already. 603-HLSA/ China mix, 738-Taiwan Fisheries/ HLKG mix and 1134-KBS all were close to "9" levels around 1415 on the 9' box loop, but these have all been regulars this month. There was audio on 1107 kHz again around 1418, with what sounded like American jazz music-- but still no ID clues. Some of the TP frequencies that usually have weak co-channels during good conditions (621, 666, 675, 792 and 891) didn't have them this morning, indicating that conditions were less than optimal. Sure hope that John and Guy at Grayland are having better luck than we are. 73, Gary Spotting receiver: Modified ICF-2010 (30" loopstick) Main receiver (this morning): Stock Tecsun PL-310 DSP ultralight 9' PVC-framed tuned passive loop (in a windy back yard) _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca
