I have this nasty habit of leaving my logbook downstairs when I get a chance to
use the internet.
So you'll have to look things up in the WRTH. But we did hear Taiwan on 1557
and one other channel earlier this eve, parallel, with Family Radio in English.
A few stations in carry this in Taiwan that are high-powered. They're listed
under USA international, WYFR, in the WRTH. Anyhow, they make good targets.
Nice to see Bill and Bruce on the east coast getting TPs. We've had weak action
that way past few mornings, but today's were an improvement. Heard 828, 747,
693 Japan, maybe another. Some Chinese (980 for example). 972 S. Korea. Taiwan
barely there 1557.
More fun tonight with the India sign-ons. It'd be a riot if any of you east
coasters could pull one of these off. A bunch including 954 soon after 0000
starting wityh 1Khz tone, then lengthy music IS, then programming (programming
not necessarily // but s-on stuff is). 1116 and perhaps others (none noted) an
hour later. Check WRTH for times.
Mozambique s-offs on 1026 and 1206 also noted. Think that was 0200. Stations
not // but s-off is.
Not to worry, we'll be assembling a report in due course with good bit of
detail.
