You would know FM IBOC if you hear it.  Here on the East isde of
Indianapolis I am about 3 miles away from 5 moderately high powered FM
rigs with IBOC.  It really sounds like the "digital hash" that most
people call it.  It sounds like RFI that was produced by a computer
processer.  Some say that it sounds like a buzzsaw.  On Washington
Street, much closer to the towers than my QTH, there is intermod and on
some radios, the buzzsaw is on every open channel. :(

To be honest, I don't think I have ever noticed IBOC hash on FM out
here. I am not sure I have ever heard the hash on FM period.
