Way before the invention of compact fluorescent and LED lamps, simple drawn
wire tungsten lamps were creating havoc for some TV viewers back in the
1950s.  The source of the strange interference was traced down to some
neighbors still burning their 30+ year old tungsten incandescent lamps.
Apparently these Mazda tungsten lamps were prone to oscillate in the FM
