So would KUAU (1570?) be my best bet to log my first Hawaiian from a few miles
east of San Diego, CA?  Or, would the IBOC from 1580 KMIK be too much to punch
through?  KMIK often comes in nearly as strong as some of my locals (5kW 600
KOGO @ 8 mi W, 50kW (night) 690 XEWW @ 32 mi SW, 5kW (day) 910 KECR @ 9 mi N,
2.9kW (night) 1170 KCBQ @ 9 mi N (diplex with KECR) and 1kW (night) 1360 KLSD @
8 mi W).  During KMIK's fades I most often hear Spanish, which I suspect is
XERF, or before sunset / after sunrise I often get religion from KPRO Riverside.

If KUAU wouldn't be the most likely Hawaiian for me to log first, what would be
some better ones?  BTW rather than post a long list I've compiled of Hawaiians
and the domestic pests I receive on their frequencies (complete with heading
differences (some on same or opposite bearing) and inverse distance field
differences in dB (some are theoretically over 40 dB stronger, up to and over
63 dB), I'll be on the lookout for suggested targets, THEN note the pests I
normally hear on their frequencies. :)  Also what might be some good Alaskans
to target from here?

There's even a youtube video of a Perseus reception of KUAU.<<

Glad to know others have heard KUAU. But 15KW, I would think they would
be a regular along the coast. I caught them a few times with 1 KW, but
they were not strong.
