What's even stranger; if you go to http://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/prod/cdbs/pubacc/prod/app_list.pl?Facility_id=54829 and click on the first record (the only one dated 2011), they applied for, and apparently were granted, Special Temporary Authority to be silent earlier this year due to technical problems. I don't see any further correspondence indicating they have returned to the air. So apparently, not only are they a daytime station with no nighttime authority, they aren't even currently supposed to be on the air AT ALL.
There is no doubt as to what I and others were hearing, so unless it's a pirate relaying WWDX's FM, this is a case of the station currently not authorized to be on the air at all, on the air. (Well, I guess, either way that makes them a sort of "pirate".) FCC, wherefore art thou? At times absolutely KILLING Cincinnati's Kentucky Wildcats basketball. Local ads and IDs as "FM 100.9 The Farm". KSU's pbp announcer is Wyatt Thompson. No trace of Cincinnati at all right now on 1530. 73, Rick Dau _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
