That's certainly the most likely prospect, Rick. Thanks for listening!
KCJJ is common here, often with a good signal - sometimes even a daytime
visitor when cx are hot, and usually the last to disappear from the west at
sunrise. 1650 IA also good at times in late morning.

Saul, I've listened to that 1630 clip over and over and I'm about 98% sure that
this is KRND in Wyoming that you do indeed have. The Cantu list shows only the
Tijuana station on 1630, but that's so far away from you that it would be next
to impossible. KRND gives KCJJ fits here whenever cx to the west are even
slightly favorable. And I'm amazed that KCJJ comes in at almost armchair level
for you. :) The one announcer that you heard talking at length about
Coralville and the Coral Ridge Mall is "Captain" Steve Bridges, the owner of
KCJJ since 1994. He's opinionated, outspoken, brash, and sometimes obnoxious
(which has gotten him into several scrapes with the FCC, both at KCJJ and in
his previous stint as GM of KFMH 99.7 "99 Plus" in Muscatine, Iowa), but he's
also fiercely devoted to providing local service to the local communities when
so many other stations around him run the same syndicated talk programs during
the weekdays. 73,Rick Dau (streams KCJJ's audio and video every morning before

Subject: [IRCA] Two unIDs - 1010 maybe WCNL NH and 1630 Spanish

A couple of unIDs from this past week/weekend...

1) Spanish on 1630. My guess is Wyoming, but I'm not ruling out Mexico. There's
two bits of spoken word, likely an ID or such, but I can't make out what's
said. It was close to my local sunrise, so could be either place.

2) 1010 - I am almost sure this is WCNL NH as it has a 94.7. But I am not 100
percent sure it's 94.7 that's in the clip - at time I think 104.7. And the
calls - I'm again not positive, looking for a second opinion.

I have another clip of the 1300 with Toledo ads I posted yesterday. It's too
long to post. I am going to see if I can download and figure out Audacity...

With thanks to anyone who listens and/or comments...
