Heard Morning Glory program on a black gospel station on 980 in Toronto on my
Tecsun ULR this morning at 0637 EST. I haven't found a way to tape off the
radio, so no audio to share. I think I heard a phone number as 643-5858 (or
9898) but nothing seems to check. Had an ad for Angel of Mercy (home care) and
the slogan "Because there's no place like home" and what sounded like a 476
area code, which would suggest macon GA. However I have no solid evidence WPGA
Perry GA carries that show and conflicting evidence about its format. WAKK
McComb MS is on the Sheridan Gospel Network list of affiliates and it does have
that show. It seems like a long haul. I did have black gospel on 980 as early
as 0552.
Some good enhancement to the south ... WYWY KY 950 (mixing with Cuba Reloj) and
960 WERC AL (also mixing with Reloj Cuba) both logged. The former is new for my
Toronto log.
Had a Radio Carenta - or something sounding like that in terms of an ID - on
940 last night, with mention of Mexico and Federales and Spanish-language
ballads, which I'm also trying to figure out. My WRTH is at Burnt River.
Need to see if 950 WBES WV is the only Fox Sports Radio affiliate on 950, aside
from KJR in WA. If so, I nailed them. They're previously heard, but not often.
