Sometime in the not-too-distant past, I remember reading an article in a radio
journal that suggested the use of the "#MWDX" hashtag on Twitter as a means of
disseminating DX tips/catches to other DXers. Is this method still being
suggested?

I have been doing this during my "Insomniac DX" sessions (usually past midnight
local time, 0600 UTC) and the only "tweet" that I've received was from a
"shady" woman in Monterrey, NL, México, in response to my tweet about Radio
Esperanza, 1140 kHz. It was VERY obvious she was not a DXer, if you know what I
mean ...

Are we "supposed" to respond to #MWDX tweets or treat them simply as DX alerts?
Maybe I've had the wrong mindset all along.

Thanks & 73,
