Hello All,
Asian TP's rebounded somewhat from a dreary session yesterday, but they still
ended up well below their optimal levels. Several big guns (594, 747, 828, 972
and 1053) managed fair to good audio at times, with 972-HLCA and the
1053-Jammer once again the best of the bunch (around 1320). 657-Pyongyang got
in a fair-level tirade around 1305, and 648-VOR managed to get above the noise
with its Chinese service at 1310.
In contrast to yesterday there were some fairly interesting second-tier Asians
showing up, although none of them really had much steam. 603-HLSA, 738-Taiwan,
936-Anhui, 1017-CRI and 1035-CNR1 all managed fair audio in and out from
1320-1340, with 1044-CRI also coming out of the noise occasionally. In contrast
to these the high band seemed to be in rigor mortis, with even 1566 and 1575
struggling to reach audio. In general this morning's session wasn't exactly
exciting, but primarily because of the variety of weak second-tier Asians
showing up, it was somewhat of an improvement over yesterday's lackluster
conditions.
