I saw Blue Cheer, Mount Rushmore and Big Brother & the Holding Company at Avalon Ballroom one night. Blue Cheer almost put my ears out, and Janis Joplin stuck a piece of glass in my eyebrow when her Southern Comfort bottle broke. Twas a night I'll never forget.
