Ahum ... The receiver in service for the 2007 bandscan was the Icom R75
(which I still own). I had my Perseus a year later, in 2008.

Hi All,
A while ago, I published my first Daytime MW bandscan
http://www.quebecdx.com/daytime_mw_bandscan_august_2007.html
Now seven years later, I finally gave me some time to work on an updated
edition of the bandscan. Both versions came from late August and I have
been using the same receiver and antennas, namely my trusty Perseus and
my two Summer Beverages (105m/350ft NE-SW unterminated + 225m/750ft
terminated towards Africa).
It is stunning to observe that within 7 years how many stations
especially from Quebec, that have left the air completely or have
migrated to FM. Just to say, my nearest local AM stations are now from
Montreal, nearly 200 Km away! The 910 frequency also made me scratch my
head. On Barry McLarnon's list, WAEI which appear silent was still alive
actualy. Indeed, the station is now simulcasting WBAK ID'ing itself as
"Big 104 FM" with an Oldies format.
