Things were at least closer to what was seen on the coast today, with some good signals from Japan. JOAB and JOBB were at their best levels of the season. In general the lower band was better, but the odd signal on the upper band also came through.

594 JOAK, Japan Woman in Japanese at 1231. Pretty good then, but faded to a weaker level for most of the listening period.

693 JOAB, Japan Instrumental music, then time pips at 1200. Up to good levels from 1230 to about 1250.

702 ABC Sydney, Australia Two Aussie-accented men conversing at 1234

738 ABC Grafton, Australia ABC news fanfare at 1300

774 JOUB, Japan Weak when first noted at 1235. Got a bit better later, but never matched the levels on 693 and 828.

828 JOBB, Japan Parallel with 693 with instrumental music and pips at 1200. Also had good levels after 1230.

1287 JOHR, Japan Weak, with man in Japanese at 1240

1296 unID Pretty sure it was Japanese, so NHK1 from Matsue, but didn't seem parallel to a very weak 594 khz.

1422 JORF, Japan Weak, with talk in Japanese by a man at 1244

1566 HLAZ, Korea Bits of audio now and again at 1232

1575 VOA, Thailand Weak, with man speaking at 1258
