At my QTH, the MW band seem to be in turmoil. As with the past mornings
I expected wall-to-wall signals from México, but they weren't there. Despite
nearby KRMG-740, I did hear a strong carrier (no audio) on 738 kHz from
1144 UTC fading before local sunrise (1234). There was also a weak carrier
on 702.

Last evening there was a Mexican or Cuban station on nearly every frequency.
YNRC-720 had a good signal completely blanking usual WGN.

Good DX and goodbye to winter.

Richard Allen,
near Perry OK USA.
