Looks like the guys at Rockworks picked a good weekend. Another interesting morning here, even slightly better than yesterday, but with some different stations favoured, as Gary noted. Here it was mostly a high band morning, like yesterday. Certainly some carriers at the low end, but none that impressive.

738 TAHITI French vocal by a man at 1153

1035 NEW ZEALAND, Newstalk ZB, Wellington
Heard a song by 10cc, which seemed odd, but then I found 1197 was parallel, so apparently Newstalk ZB plays music on occasion?

1197 NEW ZEALAND, Newstalk ZB, Wanganui
Traces of talk by a man at 1137, then later noted // with 1035 playing a 10cc song.

1314 UNID Traces of talk by a man for a minute or so at 1150.

1413 - UNID Bits of talk by a man at 1143.

1503 - NEW ZEALAND, Radio Sport, Wellington Rugby commentary, decent signal at times. Best DU signal of the morning.

1566 - AUSTRALIA, 3NE, Wangaratta Oldies songs, chat by Aussie-accented announcer. Best heard in several years, and second only to 1503 this morning. (Interesting to see Chuck's post - at least there is some very slight correlation between reception here and on the Oregon coast!)

1575 - UNID Man and woman conversing in English at 1142. Perhaps an interview? Similar programming continued to 1155 fade out.

1584.02 NEW ZEALAND, Coast, Napier-Hastings
Presumed the one with several voices, sounded like ad string.

1611 - UNID Very weak, but could hear man speaking at 1145.
