Thanks Chuck. Yes, you're quite right.
Someone told me a short time ago that it was much easier for her to
communicate with the locals in Guatemala with her minimal Spanish
than it was to communicate in Belize with the English that she'd been
speaking all her life. Obviously I'd have a tough time in Tonga.
