DJIBOUTI (pres.) R. Sawa -  1431 kHz 0158UTC - AA mx probably Qu'ran, no ID
through TOH. Rcdg starts at 0159, signal strengthens towards TOH. My first
African MW catch ever, actually.

Tuaisceart Éireann (pres.) BBC Radio Ulster - 1341 kHz 0001UTC - News in EE,
no ID. Recording starts at 0001 UTC when faded up after TOH (of course).

There were also very strong signals from the usual BBC suspects on 1215 and
909, Germany on 1422 and a host of others, but these two stood out for me.
