I have all the ALA100 series antennas - and a couple of Wellbrook FLG series antennas -
What can I say? They rock on long wave, they rock on medium, they rock on shortwave. They are directional and they reduce atmospheric and local noise by around 80% under some circumstances - Flag antennas are awesome but without the pre-amp (that the Wellbrook FLG series does...) there is not a lot of signal. You're are going to have lots of fun with it.
