What can I say? They rock on long wave, they rock on medium, they rock on
shortwave. They are directional and
they reduce atmospheric and local noise by around 80% under some
circumstances -
Flag antennas are awesome but without the pre-amp (that the Wellbrook FLG
series does...) there is not a lot of signal.

I’m going to replace the termination and feed point portions of a “Flag”
antenna that I have mounted on wooden poles at the edge of my property. It
favors the West, but even with a pre-amp the signal levels are low. Hoping
for stronger signals from the ALA100LN.
