Almost positively Radio Farda. 99.9% certain.  I've mentioned this a few
times on this forum.  Farda is often heard in Masset.  A very typical
reception quality.  Very slightly on the muffled side, to me, anyway, and
typical music from that station.  Listen at the TOH, and you'll hear an
easily recognizeable, "Radio FarDAH" ID.  I've never heard Australia on
1575.  Only VOA, AFN, Farda, and maybe a Chinese station?   73,....Walt
