A few from across the Pacific reached audio today here in southern
Alberta:
774 JOUB Akita, JAPAN Woman in Japanese at 1453, //828
828 JOBB Osaka, JAPAN Woman in Japanese at 1450, //774
972 HLCA Danjing, S.KOREA Weak, with man speaking in Korean at 1451
1116 4BC Brisbane, AUSTRALIA Poor, with man talking at 1445
1540 KREA Honolulu, HI Heard callsign ID under KXPA at 1500.
I was away for the last half of December, but since I've been back I
haven't been hearing the Kiribati 846 carrier that I was getting every
night before I left. Either reception conditions have changed radically
since then, or it's been off the air. Will be interested to see what
Colin observes when he gets a chance to escape the noise.
