An interesting morning, with a mix of DU and Asia, but it wasn't an
ordinary DU day, as the usual strong Brisbane stations were quite weak,
yet I was hearing bits of audio elsewhere, and the highlight was a few
minutes of decent audio on 1152 which as far as I can determine had to
have been 6PNN.
594 JOAK Tokyo, JAPAN weak, with talk by a man in Japanese at 1236.
612 4QR Brisbane, AUSTRALIA Faint traces of talk at 1244
693 JOAB Tokyo, JAPAN The best of the Japanese this morning, with man in
English during language lesson at 1233
702 2BL Sydney, AUSTRALIA Traces of talk at 1239. Presumably 2BL, but
today who knows.
729 5RN Adelaide, AUSTRALIA Talk by two men at 1245
738 unID Very faint audio traces at 1238 2NR?
747 JOIB Sapporo, JAPAN Woman in Japanese during language lesson at 1222
774 JOUB Akita, JAPAN Man and woman conversing during language lesson at
1233
792 4RN Brisbane, AUSTRALIA Faint traces of talk at 1252.
828 JOBB Osaka, JAPAN Weak, with man speaking during language lesson
at 1232
891 5AN Adelaide, AUSTRALIA Weak, but remarkably little splatter at 1239
with man talking.
972 Traces of woman in Korean at 1224
1116 4BC Brisbane, AUSTRALIA Regular talk show host speaking at 1236
1152 6PNN Busselton, AUSTRALIA Man speaking at 1236. Better at 1248,
with a piece about the Commonwealth games, which I was able to // with
the ABC News webstream. As far as I can see the only possibility is 6PNN.
1296 Traces of man talking at 1256, but unfortunately faded prior to
1300. Did hear 6RN earlier this season, so given conditions that's a
possibility. Also another carrier about 20 Hz high.
1314 unID Traces of woman talking at 1239
1386 unID Traces of man talking at 1240
1566 HLAZ Jeju, S.KOREA Woman speaking in Japanese at 1245.
1611 unID AUSTRALIA Traces of talk by woman at 1242. Likely Vision
