Maybe CNR11 has their transmitter pattern aligned incorrectly, hi. (FMScan.org says the Golmud site is directed at 205 degrees, hardly a good pattern for the Americas, but I wonder if there is a secondary lobe directed north?), Although the site is hugely inland, It is interesting how well they can do (they've been heard in Victoria also, rarely), and are probably a good illustration of the effectiveness of "over the pole" propagation during low sunspot years, like 1521 on the east coast. In fact, 1521 and 1098 should both be targets this season for those in the central USA/Canada.
