Hi.
How about gathering all known bugs into KNOWNBUGS, then packing it up and releasing 0.8.10?
A lot more users will be able to test current code and thus -- we'll get more reports about bugs which should be fixed in 0.8.11.
It's been a really long time since last release, don't make users wait for next one for ages.
Just my $0.02
