Building Management Association of Malaysia president Datuk Teo Chiang Kok said that a large number of consumers had received hefty electricy bill after changing metres at their premises. "And when the consumers refused to pay the bills, TNB threaten to cut their electricity supply," he said at a joint press conference with the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Malaysia and the Kuala Lumpur Selangor Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, today. Also present were several consumers who claimed they received hefty electricity bills after TNB replaced their metre with new digital ones.
