I have the following setup on three different machines as follows:
1.IIS 4.0 (SP5) Web server on one box as configured Standalone (not in any
domain)in the DMZ segment.
2.MTS server and SQL server 7.0 (SP1)running on a two different boxes other
than the IIS box on the same LAN segment and are part of a NT domain.
3.There is PIX firewall between the IIS server and the MTS/SQL servers.
4.The IIS application uses a DCOM component to access the SQL dB via the
MTS.
Q1 - I created a package on the MTS with a user identity,But dcom for that
component does not work as it should i.e. After i reboot the MTS server, the
Web access to the DCOM component fails with 4129 adn 4135 event Ids.Then i
have to login using the user account used as identity for the package to
make it work.I do not have to be logged on always,it continues to work even
after i log off until i again do a reboot.
Q2 - Facing Performance issues as well?
Can any body help me on this?
